Social Worker Spotlight 2021 – Eliana Loveluck

LSF is incredibly fortunate to have Eliana in our Manatee County Case Management Organization. She brings a wealth of knowledge in social services and child abuse prevention. She’s held a wide range of positions from a Health and Human Services Advisor in the Office of Latino Affairs, Community Schools Coordinator at the Latin American Youth Center in D.C. to working in specialized programs for children who were exposed to violence.

We are pleased to welcome Renee Morrissette, a graduating member of the LSF Health Systems Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) training program who is now working with our Training Institute as a Success Specialist.

National Adoption Month in Florida

Congo refugee family arrives in Tampa after 17 years of living in refugee camps. When they arrived in Tampa, they were greeted by one of LSF’s CRS representatives who assisted in finding them a place to live and schools for the children to attend.

Happy International Teacher’s Day!

Almost everyone growing up had one teacher that touched your mind, heart, and soul. Mine was Mr. Jim Smith; he taught sociology and history. I wasn’t a typical A student, except for my shop and welding classes. I attended two high schools, a ‘regular’ high school and a vocational program.
