LSF provides services for families, foster children, refugees, and other community members in the Tampa Bay area through our many social services programs. In order to maintain these services, we count on the generous donations of fellow Floridians – whether that be through funds or their time volunteering with one of our services.
Highlighted LSF Programs in Tampa Bay
Through Head Start and Early Head Start programs, LSF supports young children and their families by promoting school readiness, early learning, health, and family engagement. These programs play a critical role in preparing children for long‑term academic and life success.
LSF provides case management services throughout Tampa Bay, serving hundreds of children and families each year. Our team works diligently to ensure child safety, family stability, and successful reunification or permanency outcomes.
LSF’s Refugee Services program provides comprehensive support to individuals and families fleeing persecution, conflict, and disaster, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and stability. Through culturally responsive case management, employment assistance, youth services, and community integration support, LSF ensures that newcomers have the resources needed to achieve self‑sufficiency, navigate essential systems, and become active, contributing members of their new communities.
LSF’s Family Resource Centers serve as community hubs for families, providing access to parenting support, family strengthening services, education, referrals, and crisis assistance. These centers focus on prevention, empowerment, and building resilient families through trusted community‑based support.
