LSF started with humble beginnings in 1982 in Tampa Bay, Belle Glade, and Ft. Lauderdale Florida primarily serving refugees. Over the years, LSF steadily expanded services to meet the needs of our communities, adding youth shelters, counseling programs, early education and food programs, substance abuse and mental health services, and child welfare and adoption services to the growing refugee and guardianship programs. We’ve grown to nearly 2,000 employees, together with thousands of supporters like you, bringing hope to hundreds of thousands of clients across Florida.
