By now, you’ve seen the headlines about our current refugee crisis.
As Afghan and Haitian refugees are forced to leave the volatile and unsafe conditions of their home countries and make their way to the United States, LSF is working hard to arrange housing assistance, provide food, secure medical support, offer translation services, and equip them with pathways to employment and self-sufficiency.
To our LSF friends and family: We ask that you join us in prayer as we ask the Lord to…
- protect those who are fleeing dangerous conditions in their homelands
- eliminate prejudice that causes disparities in the treatment and reception of various refugee groups as they make their way to the United States
- continue to reveal opportunities for us to serve in tangible, meaningful ways
- protect and strengthen team members who are working to support refuges on the ground
To our dedicated employees: Thank you for all you do to show up for those who need us most in times of uncertainty and despair.
To our new friends from across the way: We see you, we welcome you, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
