The Connie L Marmaro Head Start Center in St. Petersburg hosted the “Paving the Way to Bright Futures” Head Start Awareness Month Event for Pinellas County. From 9am-11am the families of the Connie L. Marmaro Head Start Center were entertained by the children. Classroom by classroom they entered showcasing what they have learned to their parents and families. They sang songs, counted numerically in Spanish, read words from flashcards, sounded out vowels, and even showed that they can recognize directions. The children were very smart and the families thoroughly enjoyed the showcase.
