Tampa, Fla. – 11/7/18 LSF Head Start is now accepting online applications for our Head Start programs located in Duval, Hillsborough, Palm Beach and Pinellas counties serving more than 7,000 children and families.

This shift from paper to online will make the application process easier for families enrolling. In addition, this will save time and make it convenient for families to apply from anywhere.

“Our Head Start and Early Head Start programs are committed to excellence and moving to an online application process is another way to ensure we are continually meeting our goals,” said Dr. Marie Mason, Vice President of Operations for LSF Head Start. “We live in a world driven by technology and using online applications opens the door for so many more children to receive the best start no matter their circumstance.”

The Head Start/ Early Head program works with low-income children between the ages of 6 weeks to 3-years-old to provide early learning. Through the program, children can enhance their development skills to be prepared for school and life. The program also provides health and mental support by monitoring behavior and providing daily health checks. In addition, the program benefits families by promoting family engagement; some activities include leadership, training, and goal setting.
