LSF Health Systems is committed to providing an integrated system of care in our 23 county region for people in our communities who need mental health care services. Consumers also have access to LSF Health System’s Ombudsmen, who serves as the liaison between individuals receiving services, providers, and other state/community entities.
LSF Health Systems’ Ombudsman works in collaboration with the Florida Department of Children and Families Recovery and Integration Office and the other Managing Entities throughout the state to promote a Recovery-Oriented System of Care in each region. A Recovery-Oriented System of Care is a coordinated network of community-based services that take a person-centric and strengths-based approach to help individuals, families, and communities achieve abstinence and improved health outcomes .The Ombudsman serves as a liaison between individuals receiving services, providers, and other entities in the community, providing advocacy and assistance in resolving concerns or needs that may arise.
