Lutheran Services Florida Closures and Weather Information October 7, 2016
In accordance with the path of Hurricane Matthew and the current state of emergency throughout Florida, Lutheran Services Florida will be all closing schools, head start/early head start programs, administrative offices, and service centers on Friday, October 7th in the following counties:
Miami-Dade County
Broward County
Palm Beach County
Duval County
Orange County
Hillsborough County
Pinellas County

Hurricane Matthew is on track to make landfall on Florida’s East Coast on Friday morning, moving Northeast by Friday afternoon. In preparation for the hurricane, Governor Rick Scott declared a state of emergency.
Mandatory evacuations have been ordered for 26 counties of Florida’s most vulnerable areas. Refer to Florida’s Disaster website for the most up-to-date information on the storm. http://www.floridadisaster.org/index.asp
