Thousands of families are homeless

Over 43,000 people in Florida face homelessness: 40 percent are families, and 20 percent are children under 8 years old.

Tonight, 707 kids will sleep on the street.

Children are being sexually abused

One out of every five kids in the U.S. is sexually abused, and 90 percent of victims are hurt by someone they trusted. Victims face painful psychological, physical, and emotional trauma.

Refugees are struggling to survive

Last year, 85,000 immigrants and refugees fleeing war and oppression were placed in the USA, and most of them are women and children. 48,816 live right here in our state.
