St. Petersburg, FL – On Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10 a.m. Congressman Charlie Crist will spend time
reading and interacting with the children at the Connie Marmaro Center, one of LSF Head Start’s programs
in St. Petersburg serving more than 190 children.
In January, Congressman Crist wrote a letter to the National Office of Head Start in D.C. showing his
support of LSF Head Start expanding its successful Early Head Start program to support an additional
192 children, including 144 for Early Head Start, and thirteen pregnant women. Congressman Crist is
dedicated and committed to the Head Start children as evident with his visit Monday.
