On November 12th, 2016, LSF will host its 21st annual silent auction benefiting Guardianship services. The silent auction is a fun-filled event in which items donated from local businesses are auctioned to the highest bidder using a mobile bidding platform! This year’s theme will be a luau. All proceeds will benefit LSF’s Guardianship program — a program that has helped thousands of incapacitated individuals in Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties since 1990.
This year’s event will be held at the Faith Community Center, 7750 Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL 34238
Saturday, November 12th, 2016 from 6pm to 10pm.

History of LSF Silent Auctions
This year is our 21st annual silent auction benefiting Guardianship Services. It will be held at the Faith Community Center in Sarasota on November 12, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The theme will be a luau.
Every silent auction has made a significant difference in our guardianship program by providing us with much needed funding and support. Last year, the event was semi-formal and the theme was “Looking Back – LSF’s Silver 25th Anniversary!” The evening included music from Pete Messina as well as food donated by 20+ local restaurants. The event was an overall success, and we’re looking forward to having even more fun this year. In the meantime, enjoy some pictures of past silent auctions.
History of LSF Guardianship
Since 1990, LSF has been there to help people, who would otherwise be left to unthinkable circumstances, live in a dignified life in a safe environment. LSF has operated as a nonprofit public guardianship organization for over 25 years and serves as a guardian upon appointment by the court. LSF guardians are certified, trained, and professional case managers who make our client’s welfare their top priority. These clients often include incapacitated individuals dealing with physical injuries, mental illness, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease or other age-related dementia. Since the program’s inception, we have helped thousands of people in Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto counties. Since LSF mainly serves people who are unable to pay for guardianship services, we rely on a variety of funding sources and partnerships, of which this annual silent auction is a large part.
