LSF Adult Advocacy Services
If guardianship is indicated, a referral form is completed to provide as much detail as possible about the individual in need. LSF staff cannot petition the court for guardianship of an individual, but can assist any referral source through the process. If guardianship is not the answer, staff will provide advice and information about other services that might help. LSF works with several non-profit and private partners to best serve our clients.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Since guardianship is such a serious step, it is always the last resort. LSF Adult Advocacy Services aims to assist in managing cases before guardianship is needed. However, if the courts independently rule that guardianship is required, LSF is equipped to oversee these cases if appointed to do so by the court.
