Three staff members of PEPPI Head Start in Belle Glade celebrated their 20th anniversaries at Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) in October. They are Sarah Canty, Gloria Willis and Rose Gooden. The Board of Directors for Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) added a new member and recognized a long-serving outgoing member at its meeting in Tampa on Thu., Oct. 22. Obama Declares H1N1 Flu a National Emergency President Barack Obama has declared the spread of the H1N1 flu a national emergency, giving his health chief and hospitals greater powers to deal with the pandemic.
