Eric
Tillich took up the position of as the Vice President of Advancement at
Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) on June 15, bringing 18 years of fundraising
experience to the organization. The position is a new one at LSF,
bringing together the work of development, church and community relations
and public relations.

Village Dedicated: Low-Income Housing
Joint Project of Apostles Lutheran, LSF
Nearly a year to the
day after ground breaking, Apostles Village was dedicated on June 7 in
Brandon, FL to provide low-income housing for the elderly. About
225 people attended. The building project was jointly planned and
sponsored by Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) and Apostles Lutheran
Church.

people gathered at the University of South Florida (USF) on June
19 to commemorate World Refugee Day, annually designated on June 20 by the United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees to honor refugees worldwide. This year's
event carried the theme "Real People, Real Needs" and was
jointly sponsored by Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) and the USF
International Affairs Department.
