ST. PETERSBURG – Lutheran Services Florida and PREP (Pinellas Refugee Education Program) will host a Job Fair Thursday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Job Fair will be held at the Willis S. Johns Recreation Center, 6635 Martin Luther King Street North in St. Petersburg.

The event will allow refugees, immigrants, asylees and ESOL students (English Speakers of Other Languages) a chance to meet with employers who are hiring. Employment specialists and translation services will be available.

The Job Fair is presented by Lutheran Services Florida and PREP in conjunction with pTEC (Pinellas Technical Education Centers) and the Florida Department of Children and Families.

The program is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement and administered by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
