Save the Date
for SeniorFest 2011

Are you interested in an uplifting, inspirational, daylong event filled
with powerful presentations, meaningful worship and enlightening workshops?
If so, ALOA SeniorFest 2011 is for you!
Five sessions will be held at locations around the state from February 14
through February 19, 2011. Locations and dates include:
- Monday, February 14: Life Enrichment Center, Fruitland Park (near
Leesburg) - Tuesday, February 15: Faith Lutheran Church, Sarasota - Wednesday, February 16: Zion Lutheran Church, Fort Myers
- Friday, February 18: FFA Leadership Center, Haines City - Saturday, February 19: Advent Lutheran Church, Boca Raton
SeniorFest is for all Lutheran seniors and friends. Keynote speakers are Dr.
Rich Bimler and Dr. Audrey West. Dr. Bimler is a noted inspirational
humorist who will speak on “Parables, Pains and Promise!” Dr. West is a New
Testament theologian who will discuss the Parables of Jesus. Music will be
provided by David Kirk, chief musician and Director of Senior Ministries at
Advent Lutheran Church in Boca Raton.

Registration is $30 per person with lunch included. After January 22, 2011,
registration is $35 per person. You may also find registration materials
through your local Lutheran congregation.
ALOA is the Association of Lutheran Older Adults. Co-sponsors for the event
include Lutheran Services Florida, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the
Florida-Georgia District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and the
Florida-Bahamas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
