Guardianship Program
Hosts Annual
Sunset Auction
23 August 2007
The Lutheran Services Florida Sarasota
Guardianship Program will hold its Annual Sunset Silent Auction on Saturday,
September 22, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chelsea Center, located at 2506 Gulf
Gate Drive in Sarasota. All proceeds from the event will benefit the LSF
Sarasota Guardianship Program, a non-profit organization serving and
protecting incapacitated individuals—70% of whom are indigent and alone—in
the Sarasota and South Sarasota area.
In addition to the Silent Auction, the event will feature a sumptuous buffet
dinner with a large variety of delicious foods and beverages courtesy of
local restaurants, as well as entertainment by Standout Entertainment. The
theme of the event is Fall Festival and guests are encouraged to come in
costume.
For further information about becoming an event sponsor, donating auction
items, or purchasing tickets ($35 individual advance purchase, $40 at the
door, or $50 Patron), please contact Anne at (941) 358-6330.
Since 1982, the LSF Guardianship Programs have helped thousands of
incapacitated people by protecting them from neglect and exploitation. The
Program’s Case Managers make certain that clients in their care have clean
and safe living arrangements, receive well-balanced, daily meals and
necessary medical care. They also manage their incapacitated clients’
financial affairs to ensure their protection and well-being.
