Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) is a collaborative ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  LSF is the coordinating partner for Lutheran Disaster Response in Florida, partnering with Lutheran congregations to provide survivors of tornadoes, floods, fires, hurricanes, and other natural or man-made disasters with immediate aid and on-going assistance to help them rebuild their homes and their lives. When local resources are insufficient, Disaster Response takes action.  LSF is responsible for the organization to recruit and manage volunteers and manage funds contributed by individuals, congregations, Thrivent Fraternal, LDR, etc.
